PSG regain Ligue 1 title
It was a title win in style from Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated last season’s champions Monaco 7-1 on Sunday. It meant that PSG could win a domestic treble in the Coupe de France final – having already won the Coupe de laLigue – but it looks as though even a treble won’t be enough to keep manager Unai Emery in a job. PSG are reportedly lining up Thomas Tuchel to replace the Spaniard.
More misery for Dortmund
This weekend saw Schalke and Dortmund come together in the Revierderby, but it was more misery for Dortmund as they fell 2-0 losers to their arch rivals. Goals from Yevhen Konoplyanka and Naldo were enough to see off a struggling Dortmund. It’s been a miserable season for the Yellow Wall, and this loss is another signal that boss Peter Stoger needs to go.
100 La Liga goals for El Nino

He’s an icon in Madrid and his 100th La Liga goal cemented himself in the club and the league’s history. El Nino announced that he will leave his boyhood club at the end of the season, with his contract expiring.
